My Name is Barbara and I'm living in Switzerland.
I started diving in 1999, at the beginning mostly in swiss lakes and rivers. Then I discovered diving in the sea is fun as well!
So I visitied dive sites in Malta/Gozo, Egypt, Australia and New Sealand, the Philippines and last but not least Indonesia.
To photograph I love already as a small child, certainly on land and with an analog SLR. But with the boom of digital SLR I also equipped with underwater housing for my first digial SLR, the Canon EOS 300D. After changing on the Canon EOS 450D, I have first reduced to smaller fittings with the Sony RX100 and then the Olympus EM1. This was the Point also to fall in love with filming.
